Jack Grout A Legacy In Golf To be published In November 2012 by Blue River Press of Indianapolis, it recalls the life and career of Jack Grout, who played with Ben Hogan, Byron Nelson, Gene Sarazen, Sam Snead and other pioneers on the early pro golf tour, then became a renowned teaching pro. He began working with Jack Nicklaus when the Golden Bear was raw 10-year-old just starting the game, and was the great champion’s only teacher throughout his illustrious career.
